This message is for those in the creatives, I feel strongly that LANGUAGE is not a barrier rather it’s an advantage. In whatever you don’t forget CULTURE and VALUES. I remember going for comedy shows and some people discriminate by saying “he’s a YORUBA comedian”. Even some comedians mocked ME to my face. Listen what is funny to one might not to be funny to another. People have used language to advantage even in MUSIC. Look at the late Gbenga Adeboye, he travelled round the world with his humor in both Yoruba and English language. Look at King Sunny Ade, Look at Ebenezer Obey, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, these are ICONS in the music lane that has used the YORUBA language as a GLOBAL tool traveling round the world. My advise is this; Don’t let anyone talk you down, Be yourself, Do your content, Everyone get their audience. No need to compete, Keep growing, keep evolving. The WORLD will celebrate YOU. I am proud of doing jokes in YORUBA and ENGLISH, I am proud of my language. This is just my BEGINNING!!!!!!!! My brothers and sisters @peterucomedy1 @officialyemielesho @akikalmd @classy_jesters @brodashaggi @thecuteabiola @lekan_kingkong @asiricomedy @oyemykke @adeherself @officialbashtv @seyilaw1 @kemity @omobabacomedian @iamlizzyjay @demo_pumpin @thetundealuko @woliagba_ayoajewole and all creatives using the Yoruba and English language God bless you all. More blessings @gbengaadeyinka1stgcon @itshelenpaul
