General Gowon is a great man – Adesina thrown weight behind former head of State

The Africa Development Bank (AfDB) President, Akin Adesina has thrown weight behind the former head of State General Yakubu Gowon over the recent allegation of lootings by a UK Parliamentarian.

According to him, Gowon is a man of impeccable source.

Adesina also caution people to be wary of misinformation.

He tweeted;

“Be careful of misinformation! H.E. General Yakubu Gowon, Nigeria’s former Head of State, is a man of great honour, decency, honesty, amazing simplicity, humility and integrity. I know him. A great and admirable elder statesman of Nigeria. His honesty and integrity are impeccable.”
