Granit Xhaka should offer to quit Arsenal after his red card against Burnley, says Patrice Evra

Former Manchester United defender, Patrice Evra has suggested Granit Xhaka should offer to quit Arsenal after his red card against Burnley.
Xhaka was sent off for grabbing Ashley Westwood around the throat before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored an own goal as Arsenal lost 1-0 to deepen the crisis at Emirates Stadium.
Analysing the game as a pundit for Sky Sports, Evra claimed Arsenal legend Thierry Henry once refused to watch the club play because Xhaka was captain.

And Evra tore into the Swiss midfielder, saying: “If I am Mikel Arteta, I do not care about Xhaka coming in, holding his hands up and saying, ‘Sorry guys’. No, this is unacceptable.
“I have nothing against this player. But I am sorry it is time for him to say, ‘Do you know what guys, I have done enough here, I am hurting the fans, I am hurting my team-mates, I am hurting the manager, let me go away’.”
Asked about Xhaka’s red card, Arteta said: “Unacceptable. In these conditions, even worse [than Nicolas Pepe’s sending off against Leeds]. Without winning football matches you cannot do that.”
