Alleged discrimination: Imo Assembly PDP members drag Uzodima, APC to NASS

Some members of the Imo State House of Assembly have petitioned the House of Representatives, protesting alleged discrimination against them in the payment of salaries and allowances and accusing Governor Hope Uzodinma of supervising the marginalisation.

The lawmakers, who are members of the minority Peoples Democratic Party, accused the leadership of the Assembly made up of members of the ruling and majority All Progressives Congress of persecuting them.

The petition, which was addressed to the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan; and Speaker of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila, was presented through the Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe; and a member of the House, Henry Nwawuba.
