Emir of Fika loses son, Lawan mourns

Adamu Abali, the eldest son of Emir of Fika, Abali Ibn Muhammadu Idrissa, is dead.

The Fika Emirate Council in Potiskum, Yobe State, announced the death in a statement.

It said Adamu “the firstborn of His Royal Highness” died on Saturday after a brief illness.

Idrissa is Chairman of the Yobe State Council of Traditional Rulers.

Senate President, Ahmad Lawan in a statement, commiserated with the monarch and the people.

Lawan urged him to take solace in Allah who gives and takes away as he pleases.

“May Allah forgive the deceased his sins, accept his soul into Aljannat Firdaus and comfort the loved ones that he left behind,”, he said.

Ibrahim Bomai, Senator representing Yobe South, said Adamu’s death was a big loss to the state.

The lawmaker, in a condolence message, prayed for the repose of his soul.
