A student of the Kwara State Polytechnic, simply identified as Olawale, has been beheaded in Ilorin, the state capital.
The bodiless head was found around the popular Challenge area in Ilorin on Tuesday morning.
DAILY POST gathered that the deceased was also a phone repairer at the popular Challenge phone market, Ilorin.

According to the mother, “Olawale left home past 8 on Monday morning.
“But when he didn’t return on time which was unusual of him, I called his number several times but there was no response.
“We reported the matter at the ‘A’ Division police station and also went to his school and searched hospitals if perhaps he had an accident.
“However, it was while searching for him that we saw some persons gathered around a spot along Unity taking pictures. It turned out to be the severed head of my son”, the mother who battled to control her emotions wailed.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Ajayi Okasanmi told DAILY POST on phone that efforts to arrest the masterminds were ongoing.
“While responding to a distress call, a bodiless head was recovered at Challenge area of Ilorin on Tuesday.
“According to the police spokesman, investigation so far confirmed it was an attack by cultists.
“Deceased was also a suspected cultist, and alleged student of Kwara Polytechnic,” he added.
