An Ekiti State Magistrate Court sitting in Ado Ekiti has ordered that a 28-year-old man, Akinola Femi, be remanded in the custodial centre over the alleged kidnapping of two persons in Ekiti State.
The two persons — Mrs Temitope Orisan and Miss Feyi Orisan — were kidnapped by gunmen along the Ayetoro Ekiti-Ewu Ekiti Road on August 6, and were released after four nights in the kidnappers’ den.
The defendant was arraigned before the court on one count of kidnapping.
