#EndSARS campaigners and human rights activist, Oduala Rinu has reacted to the killing of LASU graduate and radical student activist, Nurudeen Omomeewa.
Omomeewa was reportedly shot dead by an unknow assailant at LASU gate while attending a school panel on invitation.

The sad news of Omoweema’s death was broker on Friday morning and has since generated reactions online.
Rinu, a victims of circumstance at LASU wrote in a statement obtained by Akewusolaf.com;
“You were one of the few radical student activists I know.
In the face of arrests, disciplinary committees, you never stopped standing up for student rights. They didn’t stop either, until they made sure you are dead.
LASU failed you. Nigeria failed you, like many others.”
“Has LASU released any statement regarding your death?” She asked.
“They didn’t stand up for you, me and others.”
“A University that cannot protect the lives of its students, turning itself to a tool in the hands of state politics.”
“How can student leaders survive in spaces where they are being hunted and punished for speaking up? The leaders of tomorrow are being kïlled off today.”
She added: “Your voice has been stifled forever but worry not, Comrade.
In your place, thousands of voices are rising.✊🏾”
