Superstar tennis player Andy Murray has slammed Manchester United fans who insulted Cristiano Ronaldo when it all appeared he was joining Manchester City.
Many Man United fans such as talkSPORT host, Andy Goldstein, had warned Ronaldo amid reports that the Portugal captain, a Manchester United legend, is about to join Man City.
Man City, after failing to sign England captain, Harry Kane, reportedly shifted their attention to Ronaldo.

Pep Guardiola’s side are still looking to replace Sergio Aguero who joined Barcelona this summer on a free transfer.
But Ronaldo has chosen to return to his old club where he spent a trophy-laden six years.
And Murray, an Arsenal fan, has had his say on the transfer saga, tweeting, “All the Man United fans that were absolutely abusing Ronaldo yesterday appear to have lost their voices today…. Funny old game.”
Fellow Arsenal fan Piers Morgan responded: “Exactly… wonder if you can unburn a shirt?”
