Victor Osimhen has been cleared to face Juventus in the Serie A this Saturday after his initial two-match ban was reduced to one game following a successful appeal from Napoli.
Osimhen received a red card for violent conduct in his first league game for Napoli this season against Venezia.
Napoli argued that the Nigeria international only lashed out in reaction to Daan Heymans and did not ‘punch’ the player, as was suggested by the original disciplinary commission report.

He was initially handed a two-match ban, which would’ve ruled him out of both the trip to Genoa and the big clash with Juve.
The 22-year-old is currently on international duty with Nigeria.
